Did you know that toothbrushes date back to 3000 BC, not quite resembling the colorful ergonomically designed tools we use daily? Way back then Babylonians and Egyptians made their version of a toothbrush by fraying the end of a twig. Instead of mint-flavored toothpaste, they used a special powder made from ox hooves and eggshells. Yuck!
